- Objectives: To acquaint the student with basic management theory and the basic literature Descriptors: Student will acquire the theory and work on projects with the ability to use theory in their work

- winter semester: The importance of management in contemporary Czech economy. Definition of Terms governance, leadership and management. Manager and his mission. Business, internal and external business activities. Basic management approaches to business. Business risk. Management functions. Sequential and parallel management functions. Managerial role. Three types of managerial roles The emergence of western management. The time thinking, technical and social conditions and assumptions. Classical school of management. The school of "scientific management" school of "human relations" school "administrative proceedings" school "bureaucratic control" Classification management approaches related to school management western-procedural approaches, psycho-social approaches, quantitative approaches, empirical approaches - characteristic time of greatest development, representatives, system approaches, The concept of paradigm. Definition of business efficiency. Ensuring internal business efficiency. - Identifying ways of achieving goals. Plans, tactics, operations. Monitoring correction. The example of the theater. Entrepreneurship as a value creation process and the role of money in business. Business organization and the derivation of human resources. Essence of the organization, process and departmental structure. The division of labor, cooperation and coordination of work activities. Organizational scheme. Parameters organizational structure, range management Traditional types of organizational structures - principles, advantages and disadvantages of each. Organizational structure theaters. Goal programming organizational structure. Principles of individual CP organizational structures, the differences between them and job opportunities. Adjusting the balance of corporate activities.
