Abstract
Vítězslava Kaprálová lived and created in the time between two world wars, when the Czech element in the arts was generally highlighted. The influence on her development as a composer had mainly Vítězslav Novák and later in France, Bohuslav Martinů. Hercompositions found theirs interprets and reached international recognition.
