Referát představuje působení emeritního profesora JAMU, PhDr. Jana Trojana v 50. letech 20. století v hudebním oddělení Československého rozhlasu v Brně. Tehdy se po letech nepsaných zákazů podařilo prosadit natočení řady děl B. Martinů do vysílacího plánu Čs. rozhlasu. Text mapuje okolnosti natáčení Martinů opery Divadlo za branou (H 251) v roce 1957 a to ve světle korespondence Jana Trojana se sestrou skladatele i přímo s Bohuslavem Martinů, na základě které vznikla krátká sborová skladba Ptačí hody (H 379).

The study presents the work of the emeritus professor of JAMU, PhDr. Jan Trojan in the 1950s in the music department of the Czechoslovak Radio in Brno. At that time, after years of unwritten bans, it was possible to promote the recording of a number of works by B. Martinů into the broadcasting schedule of the Czechoslovak Radio. The text maps the circumstances of the recording of Martinů's opera Divadlo za branou (Theatre behind the Gate) (H 251) in 1957 in the light of Jan Trojan's correspondence with the composer's sister and directly with Bohuslav Martinů, on the basis of which the short choral composition Ptačí hody (The Bird Feast) (H 379) was created.
