Dne 27. května 2025 se v Domě umění města Brna uskutečnil nultý ročník Laboratoře uměleckého výzkumu, odborného setkání doktorandek a doktorandů prezenčního doktorského studia Divadelní fakulty JAMU. Cílem akce bylo představit aktuální výzkumné projekty realizované v rámci doktorského studia a otevřít diskusi o metodách, tématech a přístupech současného uměleckého výzkumu. Program byl koncipován jako série krátkých prezentací doplněných moderovanými diskusemi. Příspěvky se věnovaly širokému spektru témat, mimo jiné dramaturgii, scénáristice, herecké pedagogice, site-specific divadlu, rozhlasové tvorbě, dokumentárnímu filmu, otázkám paměti, tradice a inkluzivních divadelních praktik. Setkání vytvořilo platformu pro sdílení rozpracovaných výzkumných projektů a pro reflexi vztahu mezi uměleckou praxí a výzkumným poznáním. Konání akce v Domě umění města Brna zároveň podpořilo otevřenost doktorského studia vůči širší kulturní a odborné veřejnosti.

On 27 May 2025, the inaugural edition of the Artistic Research Laboratory took place at the House of Arts Brno. The event brought together doctoral candidates of the full-time PhD programme at the Theatre Faculty of the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts (JAMU). Its aim was to present current doctoral research projects and to open a discussion on the themes, methods, and approaches of contemporary artistic research. The programme was structured as a series of short presentations followed by moderated discussions. The contributions addressed a wide range of topics, including dramaturgy, screenwriting, acting pedagogy, site-specific theatre, radio drama, documentary film, as well as questions of memory, tradition, and inclusive theatre practices. The event provided a platform for sharing work-in-progress projects and for reflecting on the relationship between artistic practice and research-based knowledge. Holding the event at the House of Arts Brno also emphasized the intention to situate doctoral research within a broader cultural and public context.
