Kamera OKO is a professional publication focused on the core cinematographic tools of film language and their practical application in audiovisual creation. The book systematically explores key elements of visual storytelling — the camera as a photographic tool, camera movement, framing and composition, subjective point of view, depth of field, shot sizes, the color wheel, rhythm and visual structure, shapes and visual illusions, angles and axes, and light. The publication demonstrates how these tools function in the practical work of cinematographers and how they influence meaning, emotion, and the rhythm of film storytelling. At the same time, it focuses on their practical use in the collaboration between cinematographer and director and on their role in shaping the visual concept of a film. Kamera OKO is intended for film students, emerging and professional creators, and anyone who wants to understand how the image works as a language and how to use it consciously in audiovisual storytelling.

Kamera OKO je odborná publikace věnovaná základním kamerovým nástrojům filmové řeči a jejich praktickému využití v audiovizuální tvorbě. Kniha systematicky rozebírá klíčové prvky obrazového vyprávění – kameru jako fotografický nástroj, pohyb kamery, rám a kompozici, subjektivní pohled, práci s hloubkou ostrosti, velikosti záběrů, barevný kruh, rytmus a obrazovou strukturu, tvary a obrazové iluze, úhly a osy i světlo. Publikace ukazuje, jak tyto nástroje fungují v praxi práce kameramanů a jak ovlivňují význam, emoci i rytmus filmového vyprávění. Zároveň se zaměřuje na jejich praktické využití při spolupráci kameramana s režisérem a na jejich roli při tvorbě vizuální koncepce filmu.
