Studie se věnuje fenoménu divadla herců s mentálním znevýhodněním na příkladu čtyř evropských divadelních souborů (Baltazár Színház – Maďarsko, Divadlo z Pasáže – Slovensko, Moomsteatern – Švédsko, Münchner Kammerspiele, Německo). Hlavním předpokladem textu je, že uvedené soubory vidí divadelní umění jako nástroj, pomocí něhož komunikují záměry své existence směrem k veřejnosti. Současně své divadelní umění vnímají jako hodnotnou službu, kterou této veřejnosti poskytují. Studie vychází výhradně zevnitř souborů, z výpovědi konkrétních respondentů a z vlastních zkušeností autorky s nimi. To následně generuje (možná obecnější) pohled na vize, poetiku, překonávané překážky popisovaných divadel, na práci s herci s mentálním znevýhodněním, na jejich profesionalitu ve smyslu, že jejich aktivity jsou plnohodnotné a pracovní, ne volnočasové či založené na dobrovolné bázi. Článek prošel dvojím recenzním řízením, avšak z kapacitních důvodů byl publikován v nerecenzované rubrice.

The study focuses on the phenomenon of theatre of actors with mental disabilities using the example of four European theatre companies (Baltazár Színház – Hungary, Divadlo z Pasáže – Slovakia, Moomsteatern – Sweden, Münchner Kammerspiele, Germany). The main assumption of the text is that the mentioned companies see theatre art as a tool with which they communicate the intentions of their existence towards the public. At the same time, they perceive their theatre art as a valuable service that they provide to this public. The study is based exclusively on the inside of the companies, on the statements of specific respondents and on the author's own experiences with them. This subsequently generates a (perhaps more general) view of the visions, poetics, overcome obstacles of the described theatres, on the work with actors with mental disabilities, on their professionalism in the sense that their activities are full-fledged and work, not leisure or based on a voluntary basis. The article was double-peer reviewed but due to capacity reasons it was published in a non-reviewed section.
