Abstract

V originále

It seems that in today`s world more than before we are confronted with heavily traumatised clients. Whether it is because of the war in Ukraine, immigrant waves, ecological crisis, people effected by the post-pandemic situation or worsening the economic situation etc. Even when we are primarily used to working with families or broader systems, working with heavily traumatised clients often leads us into working at least partly individually. What can we as dialogically oriented systemic therapist relay on in these situations? What have we learnt about the micro-management of dialogue on the contact line? What helps us to empower hope and resilience without unhelpful optimism? Where do we find hope and resilience when being part of a traumatised system? What have we learned in this area in the last thirty years? How do these experiences influence our work as trainers and supervisors? In this workshop some of the experiences from the field were presented and shared. The workshop was held within the "Empowering the quiet stories of trust, support and humanity” National Conference, coordginzed with European Family Therapy Association (NFTO).
