Přednáška prezentovala umělecký odkaz největší osobnosti na poli české varhanní interpretace a kompozice 1. poloviny 20. století – skladatele Bedřicha Antonína Wiedermanna (1883–1951), od jehož narození letos uplynulo 140 let. Výklad přiblížil jeho mezinárodní koncertní činnost i rozsáhlé skladatelské dílo. Pozornost byla věnována také jeho pedagogickému působení na Pražské konzervatoři a Akademii múzických umění. Výklad byl doplněn poslechem audio ukázek a prezentací fotografií.

The lecture presented the artistic legacy of the greatest personality of Czech organ interpretation and composition of the first half of the 20th century – the composer Bedřich Antonín Wiedermann (1883–1951), this year we commemorate 140 years of his births. The lecture introduced his international concert activities, his extensive compositional work and also his teaching at the Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts. Music recordings and photographs were presented too.
