Rozvoj technologií, nejen v oblasti klasické hudby, jde neustále kupředu a má dopad nejen na rozvoj samotného odvětví, ale také na udržitelný rozvoj životního prostředí a další oblasti. Takovou technologií je nízkolatenční streaming, který umožňuje nejen hudebníkům spoluvytvářet hudební zážitek na tisíce kilometrů daleko od sebe, aniž by divák a posluchač měl zkažený zážitek nekvalitním a zpožděným přenosem zvuku a obrazu. Konferenční příspěvek nastíní možnosti technologie nízkolatenčního streamingu v rámci hudebního umění, výuky hry na nástroj a představí další dopady, které tato technologie může mít na oblast klasické (i populární) hudby.

The development of technology, not only in the field of classical music, is constantly moving forward and has an impact not only on on the development of the industry itself, but also on environmental sustainability and other areas. One such technology is low-latency streaming, which allows not only musicians to co-create a musical experience thousands of miles apart without the viewer and listener having their experience spoiled by poor quality and delayed audio and video transmission. The conference paper will outline the possibilities of low-latency streaming technology within the musical arts, instrument instruction, and present other impacts that this technology can have on the field of classical (and popular) music.
