Abstract
This presentation deal with the polarity between randomness and allogirthm. A remarkable synthesis of intuition and algorithmics occurs where compositional ideas are realized performatively in real time with the help of computers. Instead of reproducing a work that has been composed down to the smallest detail, there is a process-oriented design where the music is first heard only at the moment of performance. Algorithmic processes allow for the generation of electronic sounds in real time, the development of which is controlled by the electronic performer.
