První polovina je zaměřena na zasazení jevištní technologie do divadelního prostoru, kodifikaci jejího názvosloví a shrnutí její historie zejména ve vazbě k mašinérii barokního divadla, věnuje se však také divadelní budově jako celku a pojmenování i funkci prostor, které se v ní nacházejí. Ve své druhé části publikace nabízí podrobný technický rozbor jednotlivých existujících zařízení strojní jevištní technologie, systémů jejich pohonu a způsobů jejich ovládání. Stranou nezůstává ani oblast provozu, obsluhy a údržby jevištní technologie. Závěr je věnován zamyšlení nad využitím a budoucností jevištní technologie. Jako součást knihy vznikl unikátní obrazový doprovod, názorně doplňující její textovou část.

In English

The first half is focused on the introduction of stage technology into the theater space, the codification of its nomenclature and a summary of its history, especially in relation to the machinery of the Baroque theater, but it is also devoted to the theater building as a whole and the naming and function of the spaces within it. In its second part, the publication offers a detailed technical analysis of individual existing devices of mechanical stage technology, their drive systems and their control methods. The area of operation, service and maintenance of stage technology is not left out either. The conclusion is devoted to reflection on the use and future of stage technology. As part of the book, a unique visual accompaniment was created, which vividly complements its textual part.
