Theatre Conference Brno 2022 builds on the previous issue with the ambition to develop it further. In 2021, the conference paid attention to the new horizons towards which theatre expands in both theory and practice. In 2022, the conference focused on turbulent zones of transition within the field of performing arts and at its edges. How such zones are perceived? Are those the limits which need to be reached and touched, or borders which must be crossed? Due to the topic, the conference was opened not only to representatives from within the creative field, but also to those who approach the same borders and limits from the other fields – practitioners and thinkers from the field of social and political studies. The event was held in present mode at the Theatre Faculty of JAMU and outside. The majority of programme was also streamed. Academics and professionals from 6 countries (Czech Republic, Germany, France, Japan, Serbia, Slovakia) took part in the event.
