článek ke 100. výročí narození umělce: dramaturg a dirigent Václav Nosek věnoval naprostou většinu svého profesního života brněnskému divadlu, kde působil na tři desítky let. Podařilo se mu vystavět dramaturgickou linii, založenou především na provádění děl 20. století s akcentací tvorby Leoše Janáčka, Bohuslava Martinů a Sergeje Prokofjeva. Díky jemu zaznělo v Brně v roce 1958 na festivalu Leoše Janáčka souborné provedení všech skladatelových oper, včetně světové premiéry Osudu. A díky jemu se zde v 60. a 70. letech inscenovala řada oper Bohuslava Martinů ve světové premiéře.

Article on the 100th anniversary of the artist's birth: the dramaturge and conductor Václav Nosek devoted the vast majority of his professional life to the Brno theater, where he worked for three decades. He managed to build a dramaturgical line, based primarily on the performance of works of the 20th century with an emphasis on the work of Leoš Janáček, Bohuslav Martinů and Sergei Prokofiev. Thanks to him, a comprehensive performance of all the composer's operas, including the world premiere of "Osud" (Destiny), was performed at the Leoš Janáček Festival in Brno in 1958. And thanks to him, a number of Bohuslav Martinů's operas were staged here in the 60's and 70's in the world premiere.
