Výzkum zvukovosti jako zásadního parametru v ansámblové hře mě přes experimenty s notací a řízenou i volnou improvizací přivedl až k práci se zvuky reálnými. Při svém studijním pobytu v Portugalsku jsem nahrál desítky hodin field recordings a připravil skladbu, která kombinuje mix těchto nahrávek s provedením mé partitury. K interpretaci partitury jsem získal pět portugalských hudebníků různého hudebního zaměření (klasická hudba, jazz, folklór, improvizovaná hudba) a zkombinoval jejich nahrávky s nahrávkami téže partitury, které jsem pořídil s hudebníky z mého ansámblu Dust in the Groove a také s nahrávkami studentů HF JAMU. Celý projekt jsem od začátku konzultoval se skladatelem a profesorem kompozice na California Institute of the Arts v Los Angeles Ulrichem Kriegerem, který podobný model mixu field recordings, sound artu a akustického hraní ansámblu řeší i ve svých kompozicích.

Research into sound as a fundamental parameter in ensemble playing, through experiments with notation and controlled and free improvisation, led me to work with real sounds. During my study stay in Portugal, I recorded dozens of hours of field recordings and prepared a song that combines mix these recordings with the performance of my score. To interpret the score, I got five Portuguese musicians of different musical backgrounds (classical music, jazz, folklore, improvised music) and combined their recordings with recordings of the same score, which I made with musicians from my ensemble Dust in the Groove and also with recordings of HF JAMU students. From the beginning, I consulted the whole project with the composer and composition professor at the California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles, Ulrich Krieger, who also solves a similar model of field recordings, sound art and acoustic ensemble playing in his compositions.
