Referát kriticky reflektuje dokument vzešlý z jednání Sekce pro stavbu varhan v rámci Třetího kongresu Mezinárodní hudební společnosti, konaného ve dnech 25. – 29. května 1909 ve Vídni. Jedná se o jeden z klíčových pramenů pro pochopení vývoje varhanářského paradigmatu 20. století, tj. zejména fenoménu reformního Varhanního hnutí. Cílem této analýzy je začlenění podnětů Alberta Schweitzera (tlumočených primárně v díle Deutsche und Franzözische Orgelbaukunst und Orgelkunst, ale oficiálně kodifikovaných právě v rámci regulativu) do kontextu následného vývoje stavby varhan v Evropě – z hlediska základních estetických ideálů a koncepčních přístupů dotýkajících se jak zvukové, tak i konstrukční stránky nástrojů.

The paper critically reflects on a document arising from the meeting of the Section for Organ Construction within the Third Congress of the International Music Society, held on 25-29 May 1909 in Vienna. This is one of the key sources for understanding the development of the organ paradigm of the 20th century, especially the phenomenon of the reform Organ Movement. The aim of this analysis is to incorporate Albert Schweitzer's suggestions (interpreted primarily in the Deutsche und Franzözische Orgelbaukunst und Orgelkunst, but officially codified under regulation) into the context of the subsequent development of organ construction in Europe - in terms of basic aesthetic ideals and conceptual approaches as well as design pages of tools.
