Text se zabývá především kompozičním přístupem k organizaci zvukového díla (záměrně je zde použito slovo zvukového – ne hudebního), jehož základem je granulární objekt – vrstva – materiál. Výsledným produktem výzkumu v této oblasti – tedy i výchozím softwarovým řešením k experimentování – se stal patch DGRain. Termín výsledný není zcela charakteristický v tomto kontextu – spíše se jedná o současné řešení problematiky – nástroj pro experimenty, který má tendenci se dále vyvíjet a přinášet další aplikace nových poznatků a možností aplikace nových metod.

The text deals mostly with the composition approach to acoustic work organization (the word acoustic – not musical – is used here on purpose), formed on the basis of a granular object – layer – material. The final product of the research in this area – therefore also the initial software solution for experimenting – is patch DGRain. The term final is not quite characteristic in this context – it is rather a current solution to a problem – a tool for experiments which tends to develop further and bring other applications of new findings and possibilities of applying new methods.
