Conversations about teaching of performance design: views, perspectives and evolution” will expose different teaching methodologies that professors of Performance Design have been raising in their respective continents. The 105-minute conversation included professors from America, Europe and Asia, who will present their views, pedagogical proposals and theories of teaching about our profession. Other speakers: Daniela Portillo Cisterna (Asociación Nacional de Diseñadores Escénicos de Chile), Catalina Devia Garrido (Asociación Nacional de Diseñadores Escénicos de Chile), Cristóbal Ramos Pérez (Asociación Nacional de Diseñadores Escénicos de Chile), Mónica Raya (National Autonomous University of Mexico), Natalie Robin (University of the Arts in Philadelphia), Nattaporn Thapparat (Bangkok University in Theatre Design) ,Tam Hung-Man (Theatre Ronin). The discussion included power point presentation prepared by speakers. Jana Preková presented the teaching methodology of the Department of Scenography at Theatre Faculty JAMU which enables to educate artists who have an idea of the concept and are independent authors creatively developing the field and specifically thinking (archetypes, symbolism, irony and metaphor, dialectics of opposites).
