Dílo Davida Strnada Technika Lestera Hortona v obrazech / Lester Horton’s Technique in Pictures se snaží zaplnit bílé místo mezi českojazyčnými dokumenty o popisované metodě, je podrobným obrazovým manuálem pro tanečníky a taneční pedagogy, toužícími se seznámit s technikou Lestara Hortona. Strnad volí formu kreslených siluet a v doprovodném textu tuto metodologii vysvětluje a dostatečně obhajuje její názornost a použitelnost v praxi. Veškeré české texty i popisky k obrázkům jsou souběžně přeloženy do angličtiny, tudíž mohou posloužit i zahraničním zájemcům o uplatnění této metody v praxi.

The publication strives to fill white space of the Czech-language materials about the described method; it is a detailed visual manual for dancers and dance pedagogues, who long to acquaint themselves with the Lester Horton’s technique. For the book, David Strnad chooses the form of silhouette drawings; this methodology and its illustrative nature and usability in the dance practice he sufficiently justifies and explains in the accompanying text. All Czech texts and captions are simultaneously translated into English, so they can also be used by foreign people interested in applying this method in practice.
