| Opera je fenomenální a jedinečný útvar, kterému již mnohokrát byl předpovídán zánik, k němuž nikdy nedošlo a zajisté nedojde. Opera, jako špička ledovce, sdružuje mnohé, ne-li všechny umělecké žánry. Bývá zkoumána a nazírána z mnoha úhlů. Přednáška je zaměřena na propojení hudby a slova. Připomene vznik a vývoj opery z hlediska priorit slova a hudby, zamyslí se nad tím, kde hledají operní skladatelé náměty, čím se inspirují, jak spolupracují s libretisty, proč mnozí sami píší libreta ke svým dílům, jaké jsou problémy při překladech libret z originálů do jiných jazyků a hlavně jakou roli hraje literatura ve tvorbě operní. |

| Opera is a phenomenal and unique form that has been forever predicted many times the disappearance, which has never happened and will certainly not occur. Opera combine many, if not all, artistic genres. It is examined and viewed from many angles. The lecture is focused on the connection of music and words. It reminds of the origin and development of operas from the point of view of the word and music priorities, will think about where the opera composers are looking for themes, how they cooperate with librettist, why many themselves write own libretto of their works, what are the problems in translating librettes from the originals to others languages and, most importantly, what role the literature plays in operatic works. |
