Každé veřejné vystoupení má něco společného s divadlem. Všichni se někdy ocitáme v rolích herců. Profesionální herectví má však svá pravidla, kterým se učí studenti na uměleckých školách. Herectví procházelo a prochází vývojem, mění se s dobou, se vkusem, různé umělecké žánry vyžadují jiný typ herectví, podstata však zůstává stejná – pravdivost, touha něco sdělit a zaujmout. Jakými prostředky toho dosáhnout? Jaký vliv na herectví měly školy K. S. Stanislavského a B. Brechta? Jaké jsou požadavky dnešních režisérů a diváků? A jaký je rozdíl v herectví činoherním a operním?

Every public performance has something in common with the theater. We all find ourselves in actors' roles. However, professional acting has its rules that teach students at art schools. Acting went through and going through development, changing with time, with taste, different artistic genres require different type of acting, the essence remains the same - the truth, the desire to communicate something and take it. How can this be achieved? What influence on acting had K. S. Stanislavsky and B. Brecht? What are the demands of today's directors and viewers? And what is the difference in drama and operatic acting?
