Abstract
Referát nejprve krátce definuje pojem „stará hudba“, dále stručně nastiňuje dějiny jejího hnutí po druhé světové válce. Z řady publikovaných prací, které reflektují filosofii celého hnutí, je vybráno 8 autorů a 10 jejich textů, které nabízejí pozoruhodné názory k fenoménu autenticity v interpretaci staré hudby. Jsou to Marc Pincherle s článkem On the Rights of the Interpreter in the Performance of 17th- and 18th-Century Music, Robert Donington se dvěma příručkami Interpretation of Early Music a A Performer's Guide to Baroque Music, Peter Paul Fuchs s příspěvkem Interrelations between Musicology and Musical Performance, Peter Le Huray a jeho případová studie Authenticity in Performance, Frederick Neumann a jeho příručka Ornamentation in Baroque and Post-Baroque Music, Raymond Leppard a jeho kniha Authenticity in Music, Laurence Dreyfus a jeho stať Early Music Defended against its Devotees: A Theory of Historical Performance in the Twentieth Century, Richard Taruskin a jeho dva články On Letting the Music Speak for Itself: Some Reflections on Musicology and Performance a The Pastness of the Present and the Presence of the Past.
Abstract (in English)
The article briefly defines the Early Music and shortly brings history of its movement after the World War Two. Then it is focussed on 8 authors and their 10 publications reflecting philosophy of the movement. These are Marc Pincherle and his article On the Rights of the Interpreter in the Performance of 17th- and 18th-Century Music, Robert Donington and his 2 handbooks Interpretation of Early Music and A Performer's Guide to Baroque Music, Peter Paul Fuchs and his article Interrelations between Musicology and Musical Performance, Peter Le Huray and his case study Authenticity in Performance, Frederick Neumann and his book Ornamentation in Baroque and Post-Baroque Music, Raymond Leppard a his book Authenticity in Music, Laurence Dreyfus and his article Early Music Defended against its Devotees: A Theory of Historical Performance in the Twentieth Century, Richard Taruskin and his 2 articles On Letting the Music Speak for Itself: Some Reflections on Musicology and Performance and The Pastness of the Present and the Presence of the Past.
