Tato kniha se věnuje základním hlasovým a pedagogickým metodám Karla Hegnera, jež používal ve své výuce muzikálového herectví na JAMU. Obsahuje popis hlasových cvičení a pedagogického stylu. Výzkum využívá analýzu hlasových záznamů studentů prostřednictvím poslechu a programu VoceVista. Výzkum je doplněn pozorováními vlastní pedagogické praxe, do níž byly Hegnerovy metody aplikovány.

The book Karel Hegner's Teaching Method of Musical Theatre Vocal Technique discusses Karel Hegner's basic vocal and pedagogical methods applied in his lessons of musical theatre vocal training at the Theatre Faculty of Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno. The description of the vocal training exercises and teaching style is included. The research audio recordings of the students are analysed first through listening and then using the computer program VoceVista. The research is supplemented by the observations from the author's own teaching practice, in which Karel Hegner's method has been applied.
