Course objectives
Presentation of the most important records of the various trends and currents in jazz   development of the first half of the 20th century.
Syllabus
  • Knowing the important moments in jazz history. Warning threshold moments in the development of jazz music and the analysis of their aspects. The purpose is to teach students to recognize when listening to a specific period, be able to determine whether the recording period of swing, be-bop bopové or another era. Highlight the individual characteristics improvisations of individuals in the overall musical concept. At the core of examples of the genre to be able by sound and expression to determine exactly who he is.
