Course objectives (in Czech)

Poskytnout studentům znalosti v oblasti dějin a literatury tuby a nátrubkových nástrojů obecně, potřebných pro výkon povolání koncertního interpreta a pedagoga hry na tubu a současně poskytnout systémovou přípravu na SZZ. Předmět zprostředkuje přehled o historii basové a kontrabasové tuby a tzv. cimbassa od poloviny 19. století do současnosti. Předmět podrobně mapuje vznik a využití tuby a cimbassa od poloviny 19. století, seznamuje s vynálezci a nástrojaři a detailně zachycuje vývoj včetně konstrukčních charakteristik a technických inovací. Poskytuje také přehled o instrumentaci tubových nástrojů u jednotlivých skladatelů probíraného období a souvislostech s dnešní prováděcí praxí.

Learning outcomes (in Czech)

Student bude po absolvování předmětu schopen:
- prokazovat široké znalosti v oblasti historie basových a kontrabasových nátrubkových nástrojů od poloviny 19. století po současnost;
- orientovat se v sekundární literatuře včetně zahraničních pramenů;
- orientovat se v historických souvislostech vzniku a vývoje basových a kontrabasových nátrubkových nástrojů daného období, stejně jako v podrobném vysvětlení konstrukčního vývoje těchto nástrojů;
- popsat různé konstrukční typy nástrojů, zná historii jejich využívání v dobové hudební praxi a uvědomuje si souvislosti s aktuální problematikou hry na nátrubkové nástroje.

• Saxovy rohy a systém nezávislých ventilů.
• Česko-rakouská nástrojářská škola a její význam pro vývoj tub.
• Asimilace tuby a bombardonu - vznik dnešních nástrojů.
• Tzv. „cimbasso“ a problematika hry partů cimbassa na dnešní nástroje.
• Wagnerovy tuby, helikon, sousafon, dvojtuby.
• Vývoj tuby ve 20. a 21. století
