- Course objectives
- Cours aims in introducing the student in the artefacts, persons, philosophical, political and cultural achievements and problems of the Western culture. Its roots are to be found in the Greek philosophy, biblical literature (Judaism and Christianity), the Roman Law and the universal traditions of the western culture.
- Learning outcomes
- A student will acquire inceptive knowledge of the European culture and arts, together with its "roots" in the ancient Greek philosophy and drama, in the biblical literature forming both judaism and christianity, in the tradition and Roman law and civilization, and especially in the universal traditions of the European art.
