Prerequisites
Graduation of the Theatre Production (bachelor degree study programme, formerly Theatre Management and Stage Technology) or a similiar type of study programme.

Course objectives
The course follows the previous course of bachelor study Basic Theory and Production in CCI, extends and deepens knowledge about the concept of cultural and creative industries. Knowledge of the attributes of creative cities is essential for understanding art, culture, creativity in city development as a prerequisite for the productive activity of managers in culture and creative industries.
Objective of the course:
- Introduce students into the field of mapping and analyzing creative industries based on NACE and the IU certified methodology.
- Practical acquaintance with data sources for analysis of creative industries in the Czech Republic and independent analysis of the development of CCI in city of Brno.
- Explore the impact of creative industries on urban development and analyze the current situation and future developments on a particular example.
- On the basis of an analysis to propose measures, tools to support the creative industries and a plan for the city.
- Provide information on trends and innovations in the creative industries theory.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
- Implement mapping of the environment within the creative industries
- orientate in the field of the industry
- Analyze knowledge from analyzes of creative industries
