Course objectives
To apply typology of cultural policies in the international environment.
Student is aware of the impact of measures and the importance of transnational corporations in the field of culture and art. Student knows the main trendsetters in the international environment and connects the area of cultural policy with strategic planning and evaluation processes. He understands the economic potential of culture and cultural and creative industries, which is perceived as one of the many impacts of artistic activities.
Learning outcomes
Student will:
- able to understand the   political and legislative environment of international cultural policy,
- able to orientate in basic professional literature including international sources,
- know what are the main players in the field of international cultural policy and how they affect national cultural policies,
- have a basic overview of the similarities and differences of the national cultural policies of selected countries and will be able to work with information sources on the cultural policies of different countries of the world,
- able to think about cultural policy in global and economic contexts,
- able to reflect on cultural policy not only from the point of view of public cultural services but also in relation to the cultural and creative industries.

Teaching methods
* Regular teaching * Number of contact hours per week: 2 (1 hour lecture, 2 hours seminar) * Number of hours per week - student individual work: 2 (mainly work with literature).
Assessment methods
Graded credit on the basis of: attendance (30%) processing sub-tasks (abstracts of publications) (30%) elaboration and presentation of term paper (40%) Graded credit is the fulfillment of all the above parameters and respecting predetermined deadlines
