- Course objectives
- Objective: The festival will provide the student a different perspective on operations and work on stage, will use its expertise in the fields of construction, light, sound in summary hectic festival events and examine its flexibility, initiative and creativity. Descriptors: Student festival passes and comes with threadbare clothes faces with knowledge and ready for another marathon festival.
- Learning outcomes
- By completing the course, the student will deepen his/her practical skills in the field of technical support of an international theatre festival. The student will also be a foreign language communicator in professional terminology. And he/she will be able to independently complete assignments, evaluate and provide feedback.
- Syllabus
- The students practically implement the activities planned by the organizing team during the festival week of the International Theatre Schools Festival MEETING/ENCOUNTER. They are involved in the activities in the individual spaces, where they provide technological support for individual productions, off-programme activities, etc., according to the level of their existing knowledge and skills. The performance of practical activities is in the field of operational problem solving, evaluation and feedback, teamwork and cooperation, interdisciplinary communication.
- Teaching methods
- Independent technological performance within the SETTINGS/ENCOUNTER festival organizing team during festival week, preparation week and post-production week. Teaching Methods: Independent work by students under the supervision of faculty and staff, teamwork by students from different disciplines of the faculty.
- Assessment methods
- Credit for participation based on performance evaluation by the teacher and the head of the relevant organizing section and the coordinator of the festival MEETING/ENCOUNTER. And upon submission of a written evaluation of at least three standard pages.
