The field is guaranteed by the Vocal Studies Department Since its inception, it has already created a number of professionals who are able to find employment in the cultural industry. During its development, the field has reached a format in which theoretical, practical and applied courses are represented and well interconnected. Therefore, the teachers of theoretical courses are well aware of the practical art projects in which students participate and they are thus able to utilise immediate practical knowledge in theoretical teaching.

– knowledge of the basics of psychology and pedagogy

– mastery of methodical procedures for professional singing

– knowledge of music theory at the level of a conservatory graduate, acting and movement skills necessary for the performance of stage roles

– good proficiency in a foreign language (Italian)

After successfully completing his/her studies the graduate is able to:

  • A graduate can find employment as a member of an opera ensemble or musical theatre (as a soloist for smaller roles or a member of a choir);
  • a member of a professional choir ensemble with the possibility of becoming a soloist;
  • a singing teacher at primary and secondary schools.

The study plan consists of compulsory, elective and optional courses and of compulsory artistic study outputs.

A student must obtain 60 credits for each year of studies and finish the studies with a state final examination in selected courses, graduation performance defence and bachelor’s thesis defence.
