Erasmus Policy Statement
Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts Brno, henceforth JAMU, promotes and supports international mobilities of its students at all levels of studies; it supports mobilities of its academic and non-academic staff. The international dimension of studies is enshrined in the Strategic Plan of the institution /whose inseparable part is the Internationalisation strategy/. JAMU considers the Erasmus+ programme a significant tool to develop the international dimension of education and to enhance the profile of its graduates.
JAMU is an ECHE holder and respects its principles.
■ JAMU supports openness in education: short-term as well as long-term mobilities, incoming/outgoing.
■ JAMU support mobilities of its students and academic and non-academic staff to partner Higher Education Institutions (HEI).
■ JAMU supports exchange mobilities within its Double Degree Programme with the Royal Conservatoire the Hague.
■ JAMU supports student and staff exchange in its Double Degree Progamme »   JAMU supports traineeships in enterprises, mainly cultural.
■ JAMU fosters relationships with its well-established and reputable partners from among foreign HEI.
■ JAMU constantly revises existing contracts in the view of keeping the highest quality partnerships possible.
■ JAMU makes effort to improve its web presentation and make all the information more accessible to foreign partners and students.
■ JAMU supports language preparedness of its students especially by regular language classes within their study courses; academic as well as non-academic staff are offered language
