Foreign visits by or to the Faculty of Music of JAMU 2014 Teaching and stays by foreign educators at the Faculty of Music of JAMU In 2014, 9 educators from abroad (Italy, Germany, Latvia, Slovakia, United Kingdom) taught at the Faculty of Music of JAMU under the ERASMUS+ programme. 3 educators from the Western Balkans countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Serbia) visited the Faculty of Music of JAMU under the TEMPUS project. The jury of the Leoš Janáček International Competition included 8 foreign experts (5 for flute, 3 for clarinet). Another 24 foreign artists visited the Faculty of Music of JAMU to give lectures and lead workshops within the framework of projects implemented under the Fund for the Development of Educational and Artistic Activities (FRVUČ). Teaching and stays by Faculty of Music educators and employees abroad In 2014, 21 visits by the Faculty of Music educators took place, of which 10 were made under the ERASMUS+ programme (Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, United Kingdom), 5 under the TEMPUS project (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Serbia) and 3 representatives of the Faculty of Music of JAMU took part in the final conference of the CULTURE international project in Lodz, Poland, while in other cases the foreign trip focused on educational or scientific activities. Other employees of the Faculty of Music of JAMU made 3 trips abroad, of which 2 were under the ERASMUS+ programme and 1 within the project of cooperation with Abbaye aux Dames. Student trips abroad In 2014, a total of 38 Music Faculty students travelled abroad under the ERASMUS+ programme, of which 34 were study visits and 4 were internships. Another 49 short-term student trips abroad were made to participate in international competitions, master classes (cooperation with Abbaye aux Dames de Saintes, France) and conferences or to present students’ own creative and scientific activities. Foreign students – stays at the Faculty of Music of JAMU In 2014, a total of 11 foreign students from 7 countries made a study visit to the Faculty of Music of JAMU. Of these, 7 students made their visits under the ERASMUS+ programme (2 x Latvia, 1 x Hungary, 1 x Poland, 3 x Slovakia), 2 under an intergovernmental scholarship (2 x Taiwan) and 2 under a lifelong learning programme (1 x Japan, 1 x Russia). In addition, a total of 75 foreign students (36 + 39 participants) made a short-term visit to the Faculty of Music of JAMU as part of the International Music Master Classes and as part of an interpretation course for students from Kyoto, Japan. 2015 Teaching and stays by foreign educators at the Faculty of Music of JAMU In 2015, 7 educators from abroad (Italy, Germany, Poland, Austria) taught at the Faculty of Music of JAMU under the ERASMUS+ programme. Student trips abroad In 2015, a total of 38 Music Faculty students travelled abroad under the ERASMUS+ programme, of which 37 were study visits and 1 was an internship. FOREIGN VISITS BY OR TO THE THEATRE FACULTY OF JAMU IN 2014–2018 2014 Teaching and stays by foreign educators at the Theatre Faculty of JAMU In 2014, 6 educators from partners schools from abroad (Spain, Finland, United Kingdom, Slovakia) worked at the Theatre Faculty of JAMU under the ERASMUS+ programme. Among the most important international events hosted by the faculty and attended by foreign educators and experts was the 24th international festival of theatre schools SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER (the festival was attended by schools from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Belgium, France, Italy, Germany, Poland, Austria and Slovenia). The jury of the festival included 2 jurors from France and 1 from Finland and the student jury had jurors from Russia, Germany, Lithuania, Poland and Norway. In addition, the faculty organized the international theatrological conference Current Issues in Performance Analysis, where contributions were made by 9 foreign experts (from Poland, Germany and Austria). In association with the Faculty of Music, the Theatre Faculty held the 22nd ENCATC Annual Conference New Challenges for the Arts and Culture: Is it just about the Money?, which was attended by more than 120 representatives mainly from abroad. The main speakers of the conference were experts from the Czech Republic, the U.S. and Taiwan. Among the largest international events hosted in 2015 by the faculty was the 25th international festival of theatre schools SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER (it was attended by schools from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Georgia, Lithuania, Hungary, Germany, Poland, Austria, Russia, United Kingdom and Switzerland). The expert jury included 2 foreign jurors from France, 1 from Finland and 1 from the United Kingdom, while the student jury had one juror from Spain, Slovenia, Germany, Italy and Poland each. Another international event organized by the Theatre Faculty was the 7th International Conference of Doctoral Studies in Theatre - Current Challenges in Theatre Research, where contributions were made by 39 doctoral students and experts (10 from Czechia, 1 from Estonia, 1 from Finland, 3 from France, 1 from South Africa, 3 from Canada, 1 from Lithuania, 1 from Latvia, 3 from Hungary, 5 from Poland, 2 from Greece, 1 from Romania, 1 from Spain, 1 from the U.S., 1 from Slovakia and 4 from the United Kingdom). Within the framework of CRP Internationalization, 4 experts from abroad (Austria, Denmark, Serbia) conducted workshops or gave lectures at the faculty. Among the largest international events hosted by the faculty and attended by foreign educators and experts was the 26th international festival of theatre schools SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER (it was attended by schools from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Russia, Bulgaria, Taiwan, France, Scotland, Germany and Italy). The expert jury of the festival had jurors from France, United Kingdom or even Hungary and foreign nationals were also represented in the student jury. In addition, from 25 to 26 November 2016, the Theatre Faculty held the international theatrological conference Trends in Contemporary Acting and Acting Pedagogy, which was devoted in memoriam to doc. PhDr. Jan Roubal, Ph.D., a leading Czech theatre theorist and educator of the Theatre Faculty of JAMU. Foreign students – stays at the Theatre Faculty of JAMU In 2016, a total of 23 students made a study visit to the Theatre Faculty of JAMU under the Erasmus+ programme. The students arrived from the following countries: the U.K., Turkey, Spain, Slovakia, Portugal, Poland, Germany. Thanks to intergovernmental agreements, one student from Macedonia made a study visit to the faculty. The 26th international festival of theatre schools SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER was attended by students from Slovakia, Poland, Russia, Bulgaria, Taiwan, France, Scotland, Germany and Italy. 2017 Teaching and stays of foreign educators and experts at the Theatre Faculty of JAMU In 2017, the Theatre Faculty organized the 8th international conference of doctoral studies entitled Politics and Community Engagement in Doctoral Theatre Studies. In total, contributions were presented at the conference by 23 participants, of which 20 were from abroad (Poland, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Italy, Iran, Brazil, Cuba). Among the most important international events which were also attended by foreign educators and experts was the 27th international festival of theatre schools SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER (it was attended by schools from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Austria, Colombia, Croatia, Israel, Italy, Moldova, Spain, Switzerland, Iran). The jury of the festival was composed of jurors from Hungary, the U.S., Serbia, Germany or Romania. Thanks to the CRP Internationalization project, four scheduled teaching activities conducted by foreign educators and artists (Denmark, France, Poland) took place at the Theatre Faculty of JAMU, including lectures and workshops. In addition, 4 educators and employees from abroad (the U.S., Spain, Hungary, Turkey) worked at the faculty under the Erasmus+ programme. Student trips abroad In 2017, a total of 26 students travelled abroad under the Erasmus+ programme for a study stay or an internship. Foreign students – stays at the Theatre Faculty of JAMU In 2017, a total of 25 students from abroad arrived at the Theatre Faculty of JAMU for a longterm study stay. Thanks to the use of intergovernmental agreements, one student from Macedonia made a study visit to the faculty. The 27th international festival of theatre schools SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER was attended by students from Slovakia, Poland, Austria, Colombia, Croatia, Israel, Italy, Moldova, Spain, Switzerland, Iran. 2018 Teaching and stays by foreign educators and experts at the Theatre Faculty of JAMU Thanks to the CRP Internationalization project, the Theatre Faculty of JAMU welcomed leading foreign artists and educators which would be otherwise difficult to obtain in the normal way. The project involved a total of 14 experts from various countries (the U.K., Belgium, Poland, Germany, Slovakia, Lithuania, Serbia). Thanks to the Erasmus+ programme, 3 educators/employees made a short-term visit to the Theatre Faculty of JAMU (Lithuania, Portugal). Among the most important international events which were also attended by foreign educators and experts was again the international festival of theatre schools SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER, this time its 27th year. The festival was attended by schools from South Africa, Russia, Germany, Armenia, Israel, United Kingdom, Scotland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Poland. The jury of the festival was composed of jurors from z United Kingdom, Germany, Latvia and Georgia. In 2018, the Theatre Faculty organized the international theatrological symposium focusing on Tendencies in Contemporary Theatre Directing and Theatre-directing Education. Contributions at the symposium were presented by 21 participants, of which 17 were from abroad (Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Germany, Latvia, Portugal, United Kingdom, Italy, Russia, Turkey, Brazil, Australia).
