The newly introduced specialisation responds to the fact that chamber collaboration is the predominant performance activity of pianists and it makes sense to equip graduates with both comprehensive and high-profile knowledge and skills in this area. In the early years of study, the student focuses primarily on his or her pianistic development and attends traditional chamber music lessons with a piano department teacher, usually in collaboration with the teacher of the respective chamber music partner(s). In the course of the third to fifth year of study, he/she already goes through a "round" of compulsory elective courses, where in each semester he/she devotes himself/herself to a different type of chamber collaboration (accompaniment of vocals, strings, winds, orchestral piano, accompaniment of a piano concerto, melodrama or theatrical work), always culminating in a practical performance, usually a scored public concert. The preparation of these projects takes place under the direction of a relevant specialist, different in each individual semester, always a specialist permanently practicing the type of chamber collaboration in question. In addition, the student has the opportunity to continuously develop a longer-term classical collaboration in a specific ensemble. At the end of the program, the student must perform and defend a graduate chamber concert in addition to a solo graduate recital. With a curriculum designed in this way, the student will become practically acquainted with many forms of chamber collaboration at the necessary level, as well as learn about the creative philosophy and performance style of the leading figures of each subspecialty. This gives the student the chance to direct his/her work in the field according to his/her own preferences and on the basis of specific talent dispositions captured and developed during his/her studies. He or she acquires a comprehensive practical knowledge of the chamber piano repertoire and other competences necessary for conducting rehearsals, developing a common performance concept, and leading ensembles in terms of performance, conducting and management. 

This curriculum is overlaid by a piano performance curriculum in which the student prepares for the choice of specialization (piano performance and chamber music or piano performance and piano pedagogy) at the end of the third year.
