Graduates usually combine independent artistic activity (self-employed) with teaching activity (employee). Typically, they work in the following professions or fields: 


- pianist - soloist

- pianist - chamber musician

- pedagogue of a music school, conservatory, music college, music university

- member (leader) of a chamber ensemble

- accompanist (opera, choir, ballet, etc.

- lecturer of performance courses

- adjudicator of performance competitions


Graduates of the piano department are currently employed in the following positions:

- director of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra

- editor of classical music of the Czech Radio

- director of the Amadeus performance competition

- director of Audaces fortuna iuvat performance courses


This curriculum is covered by the piano performance curriculum, in which the student prepares for the choice of specialisation (piano playing and chamber music or piano playing and piano pedagogy) at the end of the third year.
