What is taught in the Historical Interpretation program?

This program is designed to teach a young musician to be a soloist, a member or leader of a chamber ensemble, a member or leader of a baroque orchestra or opera orchestra, a member of a choral ensemble, a répétiteur for education at a primary art school or a performer on concert stages. The graduate will know the methods of pedagogical work, using a broad knowledge of methodology, pedagogy, and psychology. Furthermore, he or she will be sufficiently versed in music history, have the necessary language skills and knowledge of the music and cultural market to become economically self-sufficient. The foundations and knowledge will enable such graduates to continue in a follow-up master’s degree program.
