What is the aim of Violin interpretation in the Bachelor’s degree programme?
To prepare the graduate for work in symphony and opera orchestras, in various chamber ensembles, for pedagogical work at primary art schools, as well as for solo performances on concert stages. The graduate will be able to use a broad knowledge of methodology, pedagogy and psychology, he or she will be familiar with music history, proficient in foreign languages and have the knowledge necessary to continue his or her studies in the Master’s degree programme.
Who can apply to study at the String Instruments Department?
Graduates of conservatories or music grammar schools can apply for studies at our Department. However, gifted students from other (non-musical) schools may also participate in the admission procedure. To be accepted to study at FoM JAMU, it is necessary to demonstrate a high level of interpretation, ability to concentrate, mental fitness for stage performance and the necessary level of general knowledge.
