The aim of the studies is to educate teachers-creators who can not only apply and teach dance or movement techniques, but pursue their independent creative activities. The master’s degree studies deepen and broaden the previous knowledge, seek new creative approaches to the work of teachers-creators and enrich their knowledge of individual dance techniques and movement disciplines from the educational-creative point of view, providing them with understanding of approaches to creation from the dramaturgical-directing point of view. From a theoretical point of view, the aim is to lead the students to independent thought, to explore the issues of teaching dance and movement and to find their own creative approaches. From the point of view of using pedagogical approaches to teach dance, the students are guided to search for the context and regularities of the movement principles and their intersections in individual special dance techniques and under individual conditions. The Dance and Movement Theatre and Education specialisation aims to enable its graduates to study dance and movement from various angles and, in the case of their own work, to rely on the deep knowledge and skills they acquire. Therefore, these graduates able to lead a group of dance and movement theatre, teach dance and movement at art schools or conservatories, teach dance and movement at primary and secondary schools, private dance schools or studios offering dance or movement lessons.
