There is a two-round selection procedure to be admitted to the three-year bachelor’s studies. In the first round, without the applicant’s participation, his or her proposal for a pedagogical or artistic project and demonstration of proficiency in a foreign language at the level of the Matura or state exam are evaluated. The second round consists of a practical test of dance techniques (classical, modern and folk dance), movement creativity and improvisation skills. This is followed by a test of a general cultural knowledge and an interview focused on the proposed project.
The studies take place in a combined form, the courses are taught in regular weekend-long blocks once a month, ten times in an academic year, always from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. Communication with individual students takes place also outside the set dates of consultations and lectures.
