Course objectives
Teach students to distinguish between types of hearing chords and single notes intone with an emphasis on distinctive intervals.
Syllabus
  • Sequential singing two-voices procedures. Working with smaller triads and chords, augmented triad, folding inversion chords and vocal chord procedures, major and minor modes and their transposition types of chords in jazz - Δ7, -7, 7, O7, ◦7, -Δ7, -Δ7 # 5 + Δ7, ◦ Δ7, +7, Δø7. Inversion of all types of chords, practice inversions diatonic rows, work with chords in a melodic exercises, create harmonic sequences of chords with melodic line. Quart chords and their recognition
