Course objectives (in Czech)

Cílem a smyslem předmětu je seznámení se s hudebními žánry latinsko-americké hudby. Představení široké škály perkusních bicích nástrojů a jejich využití ve hře na bicí soupravu.

Learning outcomes (in Czech)

Student bude schopen vysvětlit a prakticky využít při interpretaci:
- základní funkce perkusních nástrojů;
- rozličné způsoby hry rytmických paternů;
- hru s nahraným hudebním podkladem;
- dovednost hry latinsko-amerických stylů.

Syllabus (in Czech)

• Rozdělení a představení základních perkusních bicích nástrojů latinsko-americké hudby. Důraz na brazilskou hudbu. Představení široké škály bicích nástrojů brazilské hudby. Práce s vybranými hudebními styly – samba, bossa nova, partido alto, maracatú, baiao. Obeznámení se také s dalšími styly latinsko-americké hudby – bachata, merengue, cumbia, bomba, plena, beguine atd. Práce se základními rytmickými paterny těchto stylů. Využití technik perkusních nástrojů při interpretaci na bicí soupravu. Uplatnění těchto schopností při práci s vybranými nahrávkami latinsko-americké hudby.
