- Course objectives
- The aim is to understand the origins and the context of the development of European art in the context of the development of European culture, philosophy and general social history.
- Learning outcomes
- -Define basic stylistic and stylistic tendencies in European art
-Characterize basic means of expression of individual types of art in a given style and style

- 9. Mannerism Basic characteristics of Mannerism and its definition as a transitional style between Renaissance and Baroque, manifestations in individual types of art, main representatives. Manner as a stylistic element in art.
- 10. Baroque art Definition and characteristics of the historical period, temporal and territorial stratification; baroque as a complex style (illusionism and counter-reformation); main features and comparison of means of expression within individual types of art (visual arts, architecture), aesthetics and philosophy in the Baroque.
- 11. Stylistic tendencies in the development of the music of the Baroque period The issue of the onset of the Baroque style in music and its coexistence with the fading of Renaissance music, stylistic differentiation and the development of music in Italy in the 17th and 18th centuries, the specifics of musical development in France and the German cultural space, the synthesis of partial musical styles in the High Baroque period.

Rococo art Characteristics of the historical period, definition of the rococo style, main features, mutual comparison of means of expression in various types of art (visual arts, literature, architecture), the issue of applying the concept of rococo to the development of music - characteristics of the gallant style.

The art of classicism and its context in the French Enlightenment Basic definition of classicism as an artistic style and its manifestations in individual types of art; defining the basic ideas of the French Enlightenment and their impact on the development of European art of the given time (Voltaire, D. Diderot, J. J. Rousseau).

Comparison of the concept of the English school of taste and German speculative aesthetics and philosophy in the period of classicism The conceptual essence of the ideological legacy of the given cultural circles, specifics, differences from the French approach; English school of taste (A. C. Shaftesbury, F. Hutcheson, E. Young, J. Addison, E. Burke, H. Home, D. Hume); German cultural circle (G.E. Lessing, J.J. Winckelmann, I. Kant, A.G. Baumgarten, J.W. Goethe, F. Schiller).

Další požadavky pro získání atestu:
Úspěšné absolvování ústní zkoušky.
Podmínky pro připuštění k zápočtovému testu/zkoušce:
-Veškeré hodiny neabsolvované kontaktní formou je potřeba nahradit samostudiem spočívajícím ve studiu zadané literatury (příp. poslechu doporučených ukázek).
-Povinné položky pro samostudium odborné literatury jsou v návaznosti na konkrétní výukové hodiny (resp. v nich probrané tematické okruhy) uvedeny v Metodické opoře, která je zavěšena v IS JAMU.
-Pro udělení atestu na konci ZS/LS je potřeba před absolvováním zápočtového testu/ústní zkoušky předložit seznam prostudované literatury uvedené v Metodické opoře, která se vztahuje k příslušným hodinám neabsolvovaným kontaktní formou (elektronicky na adresu lyko@jamu.cz, a to nejpozději jeden týden před absolvování zápočtu/zkoušky).
Seznam musí zahrnovat:
a) jméno a příjmení studenta,
b) obor, název předmětu (Dějiny umění I/Dějiny umění II),
c) přehled hodin neabsolvovaných kontaktní formou (uvedením konkrétního data příslušené hodiny),
d) seznam prostudované literatury, která bude uvedena v plné citaci dle normy ČSN ISO 690.
-Ověření znalostí uvedených v zadané literatuře bude součástí zápočtových testů (Dějiny umění I ZS, Dějiny umění II ZS, LS), resp. součástí rozpravy v rámci ústní zkoušky (Dějiny umění I, LS).
-Přehled probrané látky v konkrétních hodinách bude průběžně evidován v prezenční listině a před začátkem zkouškového období daného semestru též zaslán všem studentům hromadným e-mailem.
Individuální studijní plán:
-O ISP formou oficiální žádosti (na příslušeném formuláři) je potřeba žádat v těch případech, kdy student již na počátku semestru ví, že nebude moci splnit kontaktní docházku alespoň v částečné míře, tj. zejména z důvodu studijní stáže, fixního pracovního úvazku v době konání výuky, dlouhodobých zdravotních důvodů apod. - Language of instruction
