Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquire technical skills, preparedness in sight-reading and performance of the compostion. Students should be able to analyse studied composition or dance and obtain notion of its tempo, rhythm, nature and style.
Descriptors: competence in playing the piano, good orientation in music literature for using it in dance lessons, ability to choose appropriate music material for the needs and management of the accompanist in dance lessons, assurance in reading music sheets and materials for the needs of other subjects.
