- Course objectives
- 1) To know the history and popular names of tap dance
2) To learn basic steps and their titles
3) To know time steps
4) Shim sham - tap dance athemn
5) Rhythm exercises, acapella tap dancing and canons
6) Basics of improvization
7) Tap dance choreography - Learning outcomes
- Student after completion of this subject will be able:
- to perform and improvize to any kind of music with self - confidence
- to amplify existing dance and music education from another view
- to learn any kind of tap choreography, which can be really helpful during castings etc. - Syllabus
