Course objectives
The aim is to present the development of fine art and clothing in the late period of antiquity and Middle Age, in the broader context of sociological, historical and cultural. Students will be able to distinguish the characteristics of different types of art, clothing styles of each epoch, to understand the relation of fashion, art and other areas of life, they will understand the used materials, textile and clothing cuts ties .

  • Clothing and fine art of Migration Period and the Early Middle Age.
  • Clothing and fine art of Byzantine empire.
  • Clothing and fine art of the High and Late Middle Age.
