- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to prepare students for writing their master's thesis in the following academic year. The course is closely linked to the critically oriented course "Reflections on Contemporary Scenography," where students gain insight into the issues of contemporary theater and alternative productions. The aim of the proseminar is to provide students with space to explore topics and questions arising from the aforementioned course and to provide them with a foundation of information and experience on the basis of which they will decide in the following academic year whether to focus their thesis on theoretical reflection or rather on "research through art."
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, students will be:
- able to think critically and discuss contemporary theater
- able to formulate their opinions in writing
- able to apply their knowledge of contemporary theater and alternative arts to their own research
- be instructed in heuristic methods
