- Předmět Světelný koncept má za cíl provést posluchače všemi stádii procesu tvorby světelného designu mimo divadlo, zejména v oblasti site specific, eventu, instalací ve veřejném prostoru apod. Poskytuje základ teoretických znalostí a praktických dovedností, které jsou v tomto procesu potřebné. Je koncipován tak, aby odpovídal potřebám jak budoucích světelných designérů, tak scénografů. Výuku doplňují případové studie a diskuze s odborníky. Cílem je, aby byli posluchači schopni kvalitně prezentovat a dokumentovat vlastní světelný projekt.

- Student bude po absolvování předmětu schopen:
- připravit, prezentovat a dokumentovat projekt světelného designu
- vytvořit světelný plán, specifikaci materiálu a rozpočet projektu, vizualizovat uměleckou koncepci projektu
Bude mít dostatečnou znalost světelné techniky a technologie
Bude mít předpoklady k efektivní komunikaci a spolupráci s uměleckým i technickým týmem projektu - Syllabus (in Czech)
- Týden 1: Úvod - Světelný design mimo divadelní budovy - site-specific, event, instalace ve veřejném prostoru, architektura. Stádia pracovního procesu.
- Týden 2: Světelná studia a ukázky jejich tvorby a pracovní metody.
- Týden 3: Zadání cvičného projektu (téma, místo, žánr, v případě jednorázového projektu požadovaná délka a četnost, rámcový rozpočet, charakteristika "klienta", případně cílového publika ). Úvodní brainstorming.
- Týden 4: Rešerše, inspirace, skicy a moodboardy. Výsledkem by měla být základní koncepce projektu, která umožňuje další kroky (= ujasněná představa o budoucím výtvarném a technickém řešení)
- Týden 5: Práce na storyboardu a základních schematech. Úvod do storyboardu, možnosti výtvarných technik.
- Týden 6: Specifikace techniky. Práce na rozpočtu. Pokud možno objednání vzorků materiálů.
- Týden 7 : Zkoušky světel a materiálů.
- Týden 8: Práce na světelném plánu a technických výkresech.
- Týden 9: Možnosti vizualizace.
- Týden 10: Práce na vizualizaci
- Týden 11: Diskuze s odborníkem z praxe
- Týden 12: Práce na výsledném dokumentu (Poster formátu A3 obsahující storyboard, vizualizaci a krátký popis koncepce + tabulka specifikací a rozpočet, výkresy)

- Student bude po absolvování předmětu schopen:
- připravit, prezentovat a dokumentovat projekt světelného designu
- vytvořit světelný plán, specifikaci materiálu a rozpočet projektu, vizualizovat uměleckou koncepci projektu
Bude mít dostatečnou znalost světelné techniky a technologie
Bude mít předpoklady k efektivní komunikaci a spolupráci s uměleckým i technickým týmem projektu - Syllabus (in Czech)
- Týden 1: Úvod - Světelný design mimo divadelní budovy - site-specific, event, instalace ve veřejném prostoru, architektura. Stádia pracovního procesu.
- Týden 2: Světelná studia a ukázky jejich tvorby a pracovní metody.
- Týden 3: Zadání cvičného projektu (téma, místo, žánr, v případě jednorázového projektu požadovaná délka a četnost, rámcový rozpočet, charakteristika "klienta", případně cílového publika ). Úvodní brainstorming.
- Týden 4: Rešerše, inspirace, skicy a moodboardy. Výsledkem by měla být základní koncepce projektu, která umožňuje další kroky (= ujasněná představa o budoucím výtvarném a technickém řešení)
- Týden 5: Práce na storyboardu a základních schematech. Úvod do storyboardu, možnosti výtvarných technik.
- Týden 6: Specifikace techniky. Práce na rozpočtu. Pokud možno objednání vzorků materiálů.
- Týden 7 : Zkoušky světel a materiálů.
- Týden 8: Práce na světelném plánu a technických výkresech.
- Týden 9: Možnosti vizualizace.
- Týden 10: Práce na vizualizaci
- Týden 11: Diskuze s odborníkem z praxe
- Týden 12: Práce na výsledném dokumentu (Poster formátu A3 obsahující storyboard, vizualizaci a krátký popis koncepce + tabulka specifikací a rozpočet, výkresy)
- Týden 13: Prezentace koncepce přizvané "porotě".
- Týden 14: Shrnutí probíraných témat, diskuze.

- Course objectives
- The goal of the course is to 1)take the participant through different stages of the process of lighting design and 2) to introduce them to different fields of lighting design and explain them the differences between them. In the first semester the lectures are focused on a systematic journey through all stages of the creative process (from first researches to documentation), in the second semester the focus is more on the process of design in other fields then stage lighting. There are guest lecturers invited throughout the semester to give the students master classes in these different fields.
