- Course objectives
- The course introduces contemporary social scientific thinking about art and shows the possibilities of its application to artistic research. The core of interpretation and seminar discussions is based on a critical reflection on art in modernity, especially in the late-modern situation in relation to important issues of social stratification, politics and economics. Particular emphasis is placed on issues of the construction and reproduction of artistic status and taste.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course the student will be able to:
- understand the basic concepts of sociology, psychology and cultural anthropology focused on art
- be oriented in the basic themes of critical reflection on art in the late modern situation
- understand the relationship between art, society, economics and politics

2. Mýtus a rituál v kontextu performativity – vztah rituálu a systému, čistota a ohrožení, rituální chování, liminarita (communitas), možnosti aplikace antropologického konceptu rituálu v teatrologii/studiích performativity
3. Estetika performativity (Erika Fisher-Lichte)
4. Kognitivní fenomenologie – vtělená mysl, situovaná mysl, rozšířená mysl, neuroestetika; vztah kognitivní fenomenologie k paradigmatu člověk-stroj
5. Mezi explanací a interpretací: aplikace kognitivních věd na divadelní a filmovou tvorbu – vztah introspekce a explanace, sémiotika a strukturalismus ve vztahu ke kognitivnímu výzkumu, first-person a third-person evidence, hra generující smysl (Gadamer).
6. Teoretické problémy současného výzkumu – studenti v krátkém position paperu formulují ústřední problémy teoretických východisek vlastních doktorských výzkumů a v diskuzi na semináři je pak navzájem reflektují za účasti pedagogů - Literature

- Cílem je seznámit posluchače doktorského studia s nejdůležitějšími tendencemi současného českého i světového myšlení o divadle.
Obsah předmětu:
1. Fenomenologie divadla:
artefakt, umělecký předmět, dílo; fenomenologie intencionální a hermeneutická; vnímání a tělesnosti; autopoietická a responzivní.
2. Divadelní sémiotika:
klasikové pražské strukturalistické školy; sémiotika deskriptivní, komunikativní, kulturně textuální, integrální.
3. Ludické koncepty divadla:
východiska psychologická, kulturologická, etologická, antropologická a hermeneutická; divadlo jako hraný svět, vážná a sémiotická hra.
4. Sociologie a sociální psychologie divadla:
divadlo – společnost – jednání; divadlo a publikum; sociologie herectví a repertoáru; divadlo jako symbolická interakce; společnost a inscenovanost.
5. Kulturně antropologické souřadnice divadla:
historické – protodivadelní, komparační - paradivadelní, kulturně performativní, antropologie podívaných; kognitivně evoluční; kulturní teatrologie.
6. Teorie teatrality a performativity:
sociálně konvencionální, kulturně historické a sociogenní - kulturální a kulturně filozofické; performativně estetické;
7. Současná česká divadelní teorie:
strukturálně sémiotická: znak – ostenze – hra – teatristika; divadlo jako dialogická hra; divadlo jako svébytný jazyk, situace a systém; divadelní taxonomie; divadlo jako zakoušení; scénologiea: scénovanost a scéničnost.
8. Vybrané metodologické otázky:
analýza představení a inscenace; problémy divadelní komunikace, participace a interaktivity; úzké a široké pojetí divadla; interdisciplinárně „otevřená“ teatrologie - její možnosti a problémy; audiovizuální záznam divadelního představení / inscenace. - Literature

4. Sociologie a sociální psychologie divadla:
divadlo – společnost – jednání; divadlo a publikum; sociologie herectví a repertoáru; divadlo jako symbolická interakce; společnost a inscenovanost.
5. Kulturně antropologické souřadnice divadla:
historické – protodivadelní, komparační - paradivadelní, kulturně performativní, antropologie podívaných; kognitivně evoluční; kulturní teatrologie.
6. Teorie teatrality a performativity:
sociálně konvencionální, kulturně historické a sociogenní - kulturální a kulturně filozofické; performativně estetické;
7. Současná česká divadelní teorie:
strukturálně sémiotická: znak – ostenze – hra – teatristika; divadlo jako dialogická hra; divadlo jako svébytný jazyk, situace a systém; divadelní taxonomie; divadlo jako zakoušení; scénologiea: scénovanost a scéničnost.

- Course objectives
- The course introduces contemporary social scientific thinking about art and shows the possibilities of its application to artistic research. The core of interpretation and seminar discussions is based on a critical reflection on art in modernity, especially in the late-modern situation in relation to important issues of social stratification, politics and economics. Particular emphasis is placed on issues of the construction and reproduction of artistic status and taste.

- Upon completion of the course the student will be able to:
- understand the basic concepts of sociology, psychology and cultural anthropology focused on art
- be oriented in the basic themes of critical reflection on art in the late modern situation
- understand the relationship between art, society, economics and politics

- 1. Postdramatické divadlo
2. Mýtus a rituál v kontextu performativity – vztah rituálu a systému, čistota a ohrožení, rituální chování, liminarita (communitas), možnosti aplikace antropologického konceptu rituálu v teatrologii/studiích performativity
3. Estetika performativity (Erika Fisher-Lichte)
4. Kognitivní fenomenologie – vtělená mysl, situovaná mysl, rozšířená mysl, neuroestetika; vztah kognitivní fenomenologie k paradigmatu člověk-stroj
5. Mezi explanací a interpretací: aplikace kognitivních věd na divadelní a filmovou tvorbu – vztah introspekce a explanace, sémiotika a strukturalismus ve vztahu ke kognitivnímu výzkumu, first-person a third-person evidence, hra generující smysl (Gadamer).
6. Teoretické problémy současného výzkumu – studenti v krátkém position paperu formulují ústřední problémy teoretických východisek vlastních doktorských výzkumů a v diskuzi na semináři je pak navzájem reflektují za účasti pedagogů - Literature
