Course objectives
To lead students to master the basic elementary internal acting techniques of K. S. Stanislavsky.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to play imaginatively, which is important for the creative process of rehearsing a production.
Syllabus
  • The subject serves as support for the subject Acting I in the studio of musical acting. In the spirit of Stanislavsky's division of elementary acting into internal and external perception, students are guided here to learn the rules of internal elementary acting. These are, among others: stage attention, imagination, given circumstances, relationship transformation, bodily sensations. Taking into account the specialization of the given studio, a feeling for the musical component supporting the creation and work with emotions is also developed here. An integral part of the work is the own analysis, during which the students gain experience from an external perspective on the given issue.

Part of the exercises and acting studies to awaken the imagination is also the student's initiative, including the processing of proposals and ideas for the performance of given tasks or work to improve the final output.
Assessment methods
Evaluation in the form of graded credit evaluates the results of the student's work throughout the semester. Not only in class, but also home preparation on assigned tasks and exercises. Regular attendance at classes is an integral part of successfully passing the course. Part of the evaluation is a satisfactory presentation of the previous work during the cloister work.
