- Monitoring the current issues of Czech theatre in professional journals and culturally focused media, visiting theater performances, tracking trends of the artistic creation.
- Learning outcomes
- Student acquires the ability to follow the development of the perfoming arts on Czech stage and to confront this knowledge with adequate processes on the European theatre scene. Student is able to orientate in conflict situations and to contribute to their solution from the position of the producer of the work of art.
- Syllabus
- The aim of critical analysis and reflections is the current space of the contemporary Czech theatre that offers a number of specific topics in which the management of cultural institutions is confronted with the processes of artistic creation.
- Seminar form of teaching encourages students to assess these processes and to search for possible alternatives. Students also submit their own ideas to a joint debate, which are based on their own experience. The basic content of the course is to link master studies with the theatre practitce.
