- Course objectives
- Objective : To familiarize the student with all the sub-organizational methods, planning and execution of premieres, performances and season. The student will learn about the organizational connections of the artistic and non-artistic professions to the performing arts company. Familiarity with professional theatre terminology and lingo. Familiarity with theatre typologies and their differences in planning, staffing, and operations.
Descriptors. The student is also able to work as a producer or secretary in a theatre or as a production manager in a theatre production shop or as an outside production manager for theatres. The student also understands set transportation issues and is able to fulfill the organizational connections of production to the operational running of the theatre.

- Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- navigate and use professional theatre terminology and vocabulary,
- be familiar with job positions and their job descriptions,
- plan the preparation and implementation of school projects, including timelines,
- create a ferman,
- be able to produce enrollment of handover and explication meetings,
- be able to name the differences between operating a single- and multi-department theatre,
- evaluate and name the advantages and disadvantages of running a theatre in terms of planning, organisation in relation to legal form, type of theatre, etc.

- Content:
- The course is divided into two parts: an introductory lecture and exercises.
- Course content:
- - Professional terminology, including theatre terminology and job positions in theatres, including job descriptions.
- - types of theatre (in terms of legal form, genre, type, etc.),
- - organizational structures of theatre operations,
- - planning in the theatre,
- - organization of theatre operations,
- - types of staff and employment relationships,
- - economic indicators in the theatre,
- - planning and implementation of tours,
- - theatre production - practical implementation of scenographic designs, scenographic fidelity in the production and operation of performances,
- - organisation of theatre production - organisational continuity on stage,
- - theatre operation and occupational safety and fire protection,
- - preparation and implementation of outdoor projects,

- Regular teaching consisting of 1 hour of lecture and 1 hour of seminar (seminar and lecture part are intertwined according to the strategy of the specific two-hour session).
- Assessment methods
- Attendance in classes (at least 80% attendance) is a condition for the written colloquium (constitutes 100% of the final grade). Students work in groups on a practical assignment according to the teacher's instructions, which they submit in written form, then present to the students, followed by a debate and public evaluation by the course teacher.

Get acquainted with the organizational traceability uměleckotechnických and non-artistic professions in the ensemble. Descriptors: Student is theoretically ready to work in the control group or to a separate control groups in the professional environment of the theater.

- orientovat se v pracovních pozicích a jejich náplní
- plánovat přípravu a realizaci školních projektů včetně časového harmonogramu

- schopen pojmenovat rozdíly mezi provozem jednosouborového a vícesouborového divadla
