Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with the basics of stage and television lighting, both in the professional, theoretical and practical level.

To familiarize the student with unconventional light sources and their use, to deepen the knowledge of class protocols.

Descriptors:The student will be able to wire lighting chains into a control console.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:

- understand and use the latest lighting technologies;
- independently prepare and clear a variety of lighting installations;
- create technical documentation for individual productions;

Teaching methods
Lectures takes place on a regular basis in the form of presentations and practical exercises, where students immediately verify the theory in practice.
Assessment methods
Credits are gained on the basis of attendance (minimum 80% attendance at lessons), fulfillment of partial tasks during the semester given by the teacher and verification of acquired knowledge in the form of discussion.
